About

"Neurodiversity is a term used to describe natural differences in the way people learn and think […] that are present from birth, rather than those that are acquired following illness or injury. Occupational therapists recognize neurodiversity as a difference in the way that people experience the world and not as a deficit that needs to be labelled or ‘fixed’. […] Our main focus [is] supporting neurodivergent people to live happy and fulfilled lives.” -Royal College of Occupational Therapists, 2022
